These tickets are for entry on the next day as purchased. Our customers need to be in the Town one day before early in the morning so you can go through the process. On the first day we will pick you up from your accommodation early, around 3:00 am, to go to Ollantaytambo to take the first train at 05:05 am direct to the town of Aguas Calientes arriving there around 06:40 am, where you will get off the train and our staff will wait for you outside the train station, welcome you, escort you directly to the government office and stand in a line that will probably last a couple of hours, hoping it will be less time. Once we have the numbered tickets we will go to your accommodation where you will settle in, then you will have the morning to rest, walk, and look for the best place for lunch.
Note: (Ticket sales begin at 3:00 p.m. following the numbered tickets you have gotten in the morning).
Finally, according to plans, you will obtain permits to Machu Picchu for the next day and the rest of the afternoon is going to be for you walk around the town, visit the Machu Picchu Museum, or relax in the hot springs (a 10-minute walk away). Your accommodation will be at the MANTU Hotel. Finally, around 8:00 p.m. Your guide will meet you for a briefing and present plans for the next day.
The package includes train tickets, accommodation, a tour guide, transportation, assistance from our staff, and bus tickets to go up and down to Machupicchu.
In the morning after your breakfast and according to the time of your income to Machupicchu our tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation to go to the bus station and take the bus to Machupicchu, the trip lasts around 25 minutes. Upon arrival, you and your tour guide will enter Machupicchu “The Old Sacred Mountain” The tour for more than 2 hours visiting the main places and sectors such as the great Intiwatana, The Temple of the Sun, the urban sector, the agricultural sector, among others, where the last emperors, priests, and priestesses took refuge and where the empire survived for 40 years after the arrival of the Spanish. The train that we have considered is the one at 5:23 pm (please be at the train station 20 minutes before). which will be at the Ollantaytambo train station, after getting off the train, the Transportation provided by PERU RAIL from OLLANTAYTAMBO to the Cix|ty of Cusco is included, where it will leave you at the PERU RAIL station and our private transportation will be waiting for you with our MINKA’S Travel logo, to then drive you to your Hotel in the City of Cusco.
